AccessoriesPlume Management KitCondensate PumpPlume is the vapour trail that isseen coming from the front,back or sides of a house whenthe flue gas temperature dropsbelow the dew point. It canhappen with all boilers, but ismore significant on highefficiency condensing boilers.Unlike old standard efficiency boilers, High Efficiency Condensingboilers produce water in the form of condensate as a by-productof operating more efficiently. This is a great benefit for theenvironment, but can make installation more difficult in placeswith restricted access to a waste drain pipe, like the basement.To remove this problem and enhance the siting flexibility ofthe Ultracom cxi, hxi and sxi, Glow-worm have produced acondensate pump to collect the condensate from the boiler andPlume is not harmful but canbe viewed as unsightly and canpump it back into the waste system.potentially be a nuisance if it drifts across neighbours propertiesor public areas.
