DIVISION 1 CLUB NOTEScampaign that we had hoped for with both our Reservesand U19's losing. While the seniors were rewarded witha week off for finishing top the Reserves had a do ordie clash against East Ringwood. We came out with animpressive first quarter that allowed us to hold the leadat every change. Unfortunately the last quarter was oneto forget with the opposition running away with the winand ending our Reserves season. It was a great effort byour boys to make it to the finals well done! Best playersDunne, Casey, Corwall, Seegar and Aarowsmith. Thecolts were also unsuccessful with their opening finalsmatch. Again they came out firing setting up a solid leadthat we held until half time. The third quarter was horriblewith Lilydale totally derailing our game and controllingthe game until the final siren. The boys have a secondchance this week to redeem themselves and rightfullyhold their position in the premiership race. Best playersSchille, Black, Pearson, McBride, Stringer and Philp. This week the Seniors have a tough battle against thefinals specialists Vermont with the winner booking a spotin the GF. We wish both our colts and seniors the verybest of luck with their matches today. Presentation nightwill be held at the club rooms on Friday 12 October, $75per person all inclusive. Contact Leanne to book yourticket leanner@jmacredit.com.au Go Wooders!SCORESBY: To say last weekend was disappointingwould be an understatement, for the first time in a longtime we really didn’t fire a shot. The Vermont boyswere up and about and we didn’t match their energy. But all the hard work for the double chance will seeus face off against the Tigers in today’s cut throat FirstSemi-Final. To our loyal band of supporters, makesure you get behind the boys and help them get acrossthe line. The U19’s roll out for the first time this finalseries against the very talented Lilydale who won theirway into the Second Semi-Final with a solid win overNorwood. We will need to be on top of our game if weare to book a spot at the big dance. Best of luck boysand congratulations on a magnificent year so far that hasseen a second minor premiership in two years. Let’smake it two in a row for both. Some astute readers willhave noticed an advertisement for both an U17 andalso an U19’s coach for season 2013.
