681.7 INTERNAL PROJECT MANAGEMENT STRUCTUREThe internal project management structure will deal with the purely technicalco-ordination of the tasks to be undertaken within each of the project elements.To ensure an effective co-ordination structure with the minimum duplication,Task Groups were established to focus on the specific technical tasks. TheseTasks Groups will meet only as-and-when-required, and will mostly be informalwithout formal minutes.The members of these task groups will depend on the subject beingconsidered, and will usually have representatives from all three consultingcompanies. Representatives from Gautrans may attend these meetings whenavailable, and selected representatives from specific role-player bodies will beinvited to attend when appropriate depending on the nature of the specificissues to be discussed. The following task teams were identified (see also thegrouping of elements above):Project Leadershipand ConceptualPlanningTechnical Feasibilityand Project PlanningDemand and RevenueForecast & ProjectappraisalRoute Determinationand Station Placing1.8 CONSULTATIVE PROGRAMME1.8.1 General ApproachThis project will have many interfaces with local and provincial stakeholdersand role-players.
