Fund Board
2005/06 was another record-breaking year for
the IAF. The fund reached an all-time high with
almost €2.6 million contributed from 18% of our
alumni. It’s incredible but true: in a little over two
years, IAF revenues have grown by one third.
And 2006/07 has certainly been a busy year so
far! From Singapore to Fontainebleau, New York
to Athens, our fantastic volunteers have been
actively raising awareness about the INSEAD
Alumni Fund and how your individual
contributions make a difference to the school.
Our on-campus ‘Robin Hood’ appeal encourages
a culture of giving back to the school at an early
stage, while classes returning for their reunions
continue to join forces in fundraising – with
outstanding results.
In the academic year 2005/06, donations were
invested in four key areas: MBA scholarships;
PhD scholarships; facilities; and research. IAF
donations helped the school provide financial
aid to nearly 90 talented scholars who otherwise
might not have been able to study at INSEAD.
Nearly 70 research projects received IAF funding
including topics as diverse as organisational
behaviour, hedge funds, humanitarian aid and
leadership. And, those who returned to
Fontainebleau recently or visited our campus
in Singapore cannot fail to have noticed the
very tangible results of the school’s ongoing
investment in state of the art facilities. These three
core axes of development help ensure that
INSEAD remains a leader in its field.
As our alumni base expands, it is our challenge
to reach out to greater numbers and to continue
increasing our support. By contributing to the IAF,
you register a vote of confidence and make a real
impact on the development of the school.

underestimated. This is your school. I invite you
to find out more – get involved, ask questions
and participate.
To our dedicated volunteers, thank you for
your tireless energy and commitment. Your
involvement and enthusiasm are the pillars of
our success. My thanks also go to the school’s
professional fundraising staff. And finally, I am
most grateful for every gift we receive – thank
you for your continued investment in INSEAD.
