Corporate Affiliation Programme<br />

By provid<strong>in</strong>g philanthropic support <strong>for</strong> research,<br />

through an annual contribution of €20,000 <strong>to</strong><br />

<strong>INSEAD</strong>, <strong>the</strong> members of <strong>the</strong> Corporate Affiliation<br />

Programme (CAP) are actively <strong>in</strong>volved with <strong>the</strong><br />

school and are at <strong>the</strong> heart of its activities. We<br />

would like <strong>to</strong> extend warm <strong>thanks</strong> <strong>to</strong> <strong>all</strong> those<br />

companies that <strong>have</strong> chosen <strong>to</strong> support <strong>INSEAD</strong><br />

<strong>in</strong> this way.<br />

Dur<strong>in</strong>g <strong>the</strong> Campaign, CAP contributions are<br />

counted <strong>to</strong>wards <strong>the</strong> over<strong>all</strong> target and <strong>the</strong>re<strong>for</strong>e<br />

rema<strong>in</strong> as important as ever. We hope <strong>the</strong><br />

Campaign is also an opportunity <strong>for</strong> new affiliates<br />

<strong>to</strong> jo<strong>in</strong> and <strong>for</strong> exist<strong>in</strong>g members <strong>to</strong> make an<br />

additional gift.<br />

Currently, 50 companies from 11 countries are<br />

members of <strong>the</strong> programme. They represent<br />

<strong>INSEAD</strong>’s key corporate partners and some <strong>have</strong><br />

been loyal members s<strong>in</strong>ce CAP was created<br />

<strong>in</strong> 1974.<br />

Members of CAP ma<strong>in</strong>ta<strong>in</strong> close connections<br />

<strong>to</strong> <strong>the</strong> school, depend<strong>in</strong>g on <strong>the</strong>ir own corporate<br />

<strong>in</strong>terests. For example, many are particularly<br />

<strong>in</strong>volved <strong>in</strong> recruit<strong>in</strong>g or network<strong>in</strong>g with MBA<br />

graduates, while o<strong>the</strong>rs <strong>have</strong> a particular <strong>in</strong>terest<br />

<strong>in</strong> Executive Education. All members are <strong>in</strong>vited<br />

<strong>to</strong> nom<strong>in</strong>ate senior human resources professionals<br />

<strong>to</strong> jo<strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> school’s Advisory Committee <strong>for</strong><br />

Management Education.<br />

Taxe d’Apprentissage<br />

The Taxe d’Apprentissage is a government<br />

<strong>in</strong>itiative <strong>for</strong> French companies <strong>to</strong> support<br />

vocational education and tra<strong>in</strong><strong>in</strong>g. French<br />

companies <strong>have</strong> <strong>to</strong> make payments each year,<br />

calculated as a percentage of <strong>the</strong>ir <strong>to</strong>tal spend<strong>in</strong>g<br />

on salaries, but can select <strong>the</strong> beneficiary. We<br />

thank <strong>all</strong> those companies <strong>in</strong> France which <strong>have</strong><br />

chosen <strong>to</strong> support <strong>INSEAD</strong> <strong>in</strong> this way.<br />
