• Jesus came to fulfill and not to destroy (Matt 5:17). He wanted us tosee and understand the intent of the Law, not merely observingsomething as a ritual.• Every blessing given to Abraham has been inherited by the Church andIsrael no longer has any rights.One struggles to find substance to this argument especially since:• The promise of a New (Renewed) Covenant is made with Israel andJudah (Jer 31:31) therefore the gentiles were adopted in the Covenantwhen Israel failed to live out their purpose and destiny.• God has uniquely preserved the gift of the Jewish people and theirculture during 2000 years of wandering about without a land whileother ancient civilizations have disappeared.• God has kept all His promises and restored Israel as a nation, a nationborn in a moment (Is 66:8) in 1948.• God has restored Jerusalem to the Jewish people on 7 June 1967fulfilling the word of Paul in Romans 11.If one looks at the tangible evidence of a God who keeps His Covenant withHis people, then one has to believe that the prophetic word not yet fulfilledwill come to pass.Zech 8:23 “Thus says the Lord of hosts, In those days ten men from everylanguage of the nations shall grasp the sleeve of a Jewish man, saying, Letus go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.Daniel 12:1-4 “At the time Michael shall stand up, The great prince whostands watch over the sons of your people; and there shall be a time oftrouble, Such as never was since there was a nation,Even to that time.And at that time your people shall be delivered, everyone who is found writtenin the book.And many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, Some toeverlasting life, Some to shame and everlasting contempt.Those who are wise shall shine like the brightness of the firmament, andthose who turn many to righteousness like the stars forever and ever.But you, Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book until the time of theend; many shall run to and fro, and knowledge shall increase.Rev 10:10, 11 “And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand and ate it,and it was as sweet as honey in my mouth.
