Die explosionsgeschützten Drehstrommotoren
Typ EeD… in der Zündschutzart „Erhöhte Sicherheit“
entsprechen den Europäischen Normen EN 60079-0
und EN 60079-7.
Die Standardausführung der Motoren entspricht der
Explosionsgruppe II und der Temperaturklasse T3. Die
Temperaturklasse T3 schließt die niederen Temperaturklassen
T1 und T2 ein.
Motoren der Temperaturklasse T4 sind auf Anfrage
lieferbar.
Für die Motoren liegen EG-Baumusterprüfbescheinigungen
der Physikalisch-Technischen Bundesanstalt
(PTB) vor.
Explosion-protected
three-phase motors
The explosion-protected three-phase motors type
EeD… for the hazardous duty “Increased Safety” are
according to the European Standards EN 60079-0
and EN 60079-7.
In standard version the motors are according to the
explosion group II and the temperature class T3.
The temperature class T3 covers the lower temperature
classes T1 and T2.
On request motors with temperature class T4 are
available.
The motors have EC-Type-examination certificates from
the federal laboratory “Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt”
(PTB).

Inbetriebnahme
Gemäß der neuen „Explosionsschutzverordnung“
(ExVo) vom 12.12.1996 dürfen elektrische Betriebsmittel
nur in Betrieb genommen werden, wenn für sie die
Konformität mit der Richtlinie 94/9/EG bescheinigt ist.
Die neugefasste „Verordnung über elektrische
Anlagen in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen (ElexV)“
vom 13.12.1996 befasst sich mit den Anforderungen
an Montage, Installation und Betrieb.
Für die Verwendung elektrischer Betriebsmittel
in explosionsgefährdeten Bereichen ist die Norm
EN 60079-14 zu beachten.
Außerdem gelten die von den zuständigen Aufsichtsbehörden
und der Berufsgenossenschaft erlassenen
Verordnungen.
Die brennbaren Gase und Dämpfe sind in Gruppen
und Temperaturklassen eingeordnet. Die den Gasen
und Dämpfen zugeordneten Temperaturklassen der
Explosionsgruppe II sind auszugsweise in der
nachstehenden Tabelle aufgeführt.
Commissioning
In accordance with the new “Explosion Protection
Order“ (ExVo) dated 12th December 1996 electrical
equip ment may only be operated if for it the
conformity with Directive 94/9/EG is certified.
The revised “Order on Electrical Equipment in Areas
at Risk from Explosion“ (ElexV) dated 13th December
1996 covers requirements for assembly, installation
and operation.
The industry standard EN 60079-14 must be observed
when using electrical equipment in areas at risk from
explosion.
Regulations laid down by the relevant supervisory
authorities and trade body also apply.
The combustible gases and vapours are classified to
groups and temperature classes. The temperature
classes of group II for gases and vapours are listed in
extracts in the following table.
