wonder that we don’t shut this whole country down. David Sciara called me. We areback in court and the attorney general for this State of New Jersey thinks it is a joke thatshe would get in front of that Supreme Court on Monday and say they need another sixmonths. You had how many years? How many times have we been back in court?When did you get the message? Three state takeover districts and you think this is ajoke? We have let our children down and we keep letting them down. The facilities areon hold, and we are talking about needing more time to encourage the legislature to getoff the money so that we can continue to build our schools so that our children cancome out of here as successful as anybody else’s children in the world? That is funny?I find that highly disturbing and I wanted to voice my concern because I witnessed thelast Board meeting and I witnessed the last City Council. Dr. Glascoe, before you Ihave been coming to Board meeting for over 40 years. I can count five on my hand thatI have missed in that length of time. So I know the story from the 1960’s straight up to2005. And I think that one of the things that I witnessed was it is always good to have averbal debate because then you know how people are thinking and you know what it isyou need to do. So I encourage you to continue a debate until we get it right, until weunderstand that every child better be educated in this system. Every child. I would notput my health at risk if it were not for children. And I am not here to win no popularitycontest because I have always said it is not what you feel about me, it is what you takehome in your chest that is going to hurt you if you have not done the right thing. If youhave not got a heart, Anna Taliaferro is not going to give it to you. These are our kidswe are talking about. So I wanted to come out tonight to make that statement to youbecause I felt it was important enough to do that. Chauncey, I am going to spank you ata later time. You know you have one coming.Comm.
