Education is key in the process of acquiringand maintaining sufficient safe blood in the country, as it provides information on who can donateblood, and also on who cannot donate blood for whatever reason (e.g. medical condition, lifestylebehaviour risk, etc). Numerous educational initiatives are employed to ensure that regularblood donors become accustomed to a culture of safe blood donation and to ensure a committedand safe blood donor base for the future.
