It also has a beautiful year round wildfl ower viewing areawith most species fl owering in the spring months.St Anne’s ChurchThis charming Anglican Church,constructed between 1885 and 1887has an interesting gothic arch for its entryand is made from local soap stone from“Kayanaba”, a nearby property. Thisstone was soft when fi rst quarried, so theblocks could be easily sawn into shape.Hardening occurred after contact with theair. The church is open to the public.Wolba Wolba orAggie’s CottageSituated on the Badgingarra Road onlyseven kilometres from Dandaragan, thisbrick and stone cottage was erected in1871 and is still used today by local craftand historical groups. Only 50 metresaway is a fresh water lake with manydifferent species of water birds.Historic Post OfficeAlso made from local stone, the historicpost and telegraph offi ce opened forbusiness in 1896.
