The Boltight safety valve is a cost-effective way of minimisingthe risk of equipment failure during tensioning. It is fitted tothe high- pressure system. The benefit of fitting pressure reliefvalves to air pumps has been highlighted by a number of incidents inthe industry. Incorrect use of bolt tensioning equipment or inadequatetraining can sometimes lead an operator to build up excesspressure in the system when manuallytensioning a bolt to precise measurements. With a safety valve fitted to the systemthe pressure cannot increase beyond a safeoperating level.www.boltight.comRugged computing power in the energy field from JTLRuncorn-based JLT Mobile Computers, is reporting a significant boostin sales over the last year.
