The Annual General Meeting provides an appropriate forum forshareholders to dialogue with the Board. Additionally, the Company has a Public Affairs Department, whichdeals with queries from investors and potential investors. The Company also holds open discussions withinvestors and analysts upon request. In this regard, the Company disseminates information in strict adherenceto the disclosure requirements <strong>of</strong> the Listing Requirements <strong>of</strong> the KLSE. Material information relating to theCompany is disclosed to the public by way <strong>of</strong> announcements to the KLSE, as required by the ListingRequirements <strong>of</strong> the KLSE.ANNUAL REPORT & ACCOUNTS 2001Annual General MeetingAt the Annual General Meeting, the Chairman <strong>of</strong> the Board presents the progress and performance <strong>of</strong> theCompany to the shareholders. A question and answer session is also conducted to allow shareholders theopportunity to question Management on the Company's business and on proposed resolutions. The Chairman,the Board members and the external auditors are available at the Annual General Meeting to respond to thequestions.Accountability and AuditIn announcing the quarterly, semi-annual and annual financial statements to the shareholders and the public,the Board has endeavored to present a balanced and understandable assessment <strong>of</strong> the Company's financialposition and prospects.
