� The retired ANMs/ LHVs/ Pharmacists are planned to be hired during
Immunization Strengthening Project implementation to provide
coverage to urban/ peri urban slums for holding special sessions to
cover all un-immunized children.
RIMS
The data has been updated in respect of U.T., Chandigarh till January 2008
AEFI
The AEFI committee has been constituted as per the norms under the
chairmanship of Mission Director for U.T., Chandigarh. The committee met
at frequent intervals. The training of the ANMs / LHVs/ MPHWs has been
conducted for immunization with special reference to AEFI. However the
trainings as to other functionaries are being planned as per the protocol
under the Subject Training.
2. Objective
The overall goal is to increase immunization coverage and ensure 100%
coverage. Based on review of past performance, assessment of critical
bottlenecks and planned activities indicate below 2005-06, 2006-07 and
expected performance during 2007-08.
