When itacts as a host, it contains a USB host controller to support all speedtransactions. Without the software intervention, this host controller can dealwith transaction-based data structure to offload CPU and automaticallytransmit and receive data on USB bus. When it acts as a device, eachendpoint, except endpoint 0, the programmable HS/FS transfer types areadopted to provide the flexibility for all kinds of applications. In addition,compliance with OTG standard means both Session Request Protocol (SRP)and Host Negotiation Protocol (HNP) are supported. The system bus is aPVCI or AHB 32-bit bus interface. It also provides the functions of speed emulation and powermanagement.FIFO ControllerThis block manages the FIFO for data in/out between DMA controller and PIE in both host and device roles of <strong>FOTG210</strong>.PIE (Parallel Interface Engine)The PIE supports 16-bit parallel data stream with UTMI+ transceiver.
