<strong>Hinesburg</strong> <strong>Zoning</strong> <strong>Regulations</strong> – October 17, 2011 Article 3(1000) square feet or less.(4) Retail shops and stores <strong>of</strong> one thousand (1000) square feet or less.(5) Service establishments <strong>of</strong> one thousand (1000) square feet or less meeting local needsand not listed as conditional uses, in which no substantial amounts <strong>of</strong> flammable orexplosive solvents are used and no work is done on the premises for retail outletselsewhere.(6) Day-care facilities.(7) Post <strong>of</strong>fices.(8) Libraries.(9) Planned Unit Developments are permitted in accordance with the conditions set forthin Section 4.5.(10) Commercial agriculture operations and accessories thereto involving acceptedagricultural or farming practices or accepted silvicultural practices are permittedwithout site plan approval.(11) Dead storage.(12) Farm stand.(13) Farm market.(14) Art studio or exhibition space.(15) Community center.(16) Ro<strong>of</strong>top solar hot water.(17) Ro<strong>of</strong>top photovoltaics.(18) Ro<strong>of</strong>top wind turbines.(19) Photovoltaic trackers.(20) Small wind energy systems.3.5.6 CONDITIONAL USES (RESIDENTIAL AND COMMERCIAL)(1) Offices (business, pr<strong>of</strong>essional, medical, dental, and governmental) <strong>of</strong> over 1000square feet.(2) Retail shops and stores, and service establishments <strong>of</strong> over 1000 square feet up to amaximum <strong>of</strong> 20,000 sq. ft.(3) Resturants and taverns. Drive-up windows and drive through service is prohibited.(4) Public and private educational institutions and accompanying customary recreationareas.(5) Public and private hospitals.(6) Lodges and private clubs.(7) Multi-family dwellings <strong>of</strong> more than 6 units, not to exceed three (3) bedrooms perunit.(8) Congregate housing.(9) Indoor recreation and theaters (except drive-in theaters).(10) Printing facilities, including assembly <strong>of</strong> printed products, up to a maximum <strong>of</strong> fifteenhundred (1500) square feet.(11) Hotels, motels, hostels, bed and breakfasts, rooming houses and inns.(12) Mortuaries and funeral parlors.(13) Banks and other monetary institutions.(14) Dry-cleaning and pressing establishments which are primarily retail and in which nosubstantial amounts <strong>of</strong> flammable, toxic, or explosive solvents are used and no workis done on the premises for retail outlets elsewhere.- Page 20 -
