ns UpdateYour Skills(Practical Courses)The practical courses are the most practical teaching sessions availableat the ECR. The workshops provide interactive demonstrations and opportunitiesfor hands-on experience, usually preceded by a 90-minute lectureprogramme. Held in smaller groups than most other courses, these sessionsenable participants to pick up practical experience of certain equipmentand procedures, with expert guidance. Depending on the topic, workstations,technical equipment and life models are provided.The ‘Update Your Skills (Practical Courses)’ are an extremely valuableway to consolidate theoretical knowledge and discover some practicalpointers.They are usually repeated three to four times over three consecutivedays. The number of participants is restricted to a manageable amount toencourage successful learning and to enable discussion of individual requests.Participants need to register in advance and have to pay a fee of €50.129
