nsSessionsSpecial FocusThe concept of a Special Focus Session is to deal with a topic atthe cutting edge of development and clinical application. A traditionalapproach is inappropriate for such a session, which should reflect the lecturers’forthright personal views on a developing subject. The topics of thesesessions should be presented in such a way as to promote debate and givean in-depth analysis.The chairman will introduce each aspect of the topic and the panellistswill then discuss their different perspectives and opinions. The audiencewill have the opportunity to discuss their ideas with the lecturers. Sessionlength: 90 minutes; three to four speakers.Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.37
