He completedhis residency in radiologyand paediatrics at the Universityof Cincinnati Medical Center andthe Cincinnati Children’s HospitalMedical Center.Bisset has served on the RadiologicalSociety of North America’sBoard of Directors since 2004 andis the immediate past president ofthe RSNA. He has published morethan 125 peer-reviewed articles, aswell as a number of book chapters.At ECR 2013, he will be awardedHonorary Membership of theEuropean Society of Radiology.Tarek A.El-DiastyMansoura, EgyptHonorary MemberTarek El-Diasty is professor ofradiology and chairman of theradiology department at the Urologyand Nephrology Centre,Mansoura University, Egypt. Hereceived his medical degree fromthe Mansoura Faculty of Medicinein 1979 and completed his internshipand residency at the sameinstitution. He then received hisPhD in 1990. El-Diasty’s work hasfocused on the field of uroradiologyand the introduction of urointerventionalprocedures intoEgyptian healthcare. His researchhas concentrated on the imagingof urinary bladder cancer, renaltransplantation and interventionaluroradiology. He has authoredmore than 100 peer-reviewedarticles and six book chapters.He is involved in strengtheninginternational cooperation andwas chairman of the 13th Symposiumof the European Societyof Urogenital Radiology, whichtook place in Cairo, Egypt in 2006.At ECR 2013 he will be awardedHonorary Membership of theEuropean Society of Radiology.Gary M. Glazer †Stanford, CA/United StatesHonorary MemberGary M. Glazer was the EmmaPfeiffer Merner Professor of theMedical Sciences and chairmanof the department of radiology atthe Stanford University School ofMedicine, California, U.S. Glazercontributed greatly to the advancementof imaging, especially inthe field of oncology. He receivedhis degree in medicine from CaseWestern University, Cleveland,Ohio in 1976 before completinghis residency at the University ofCalifornia, San Francisco. Over thecourse of his career Glazer publishedmore than 155 peer-reviewedscientific articles and three books.He received Gold Medals fromboth the Radiological Society ofNorth America and the Associationof University Radiologists.As chairman of the department ofradiology at Stanford, Glazer wasresponsible for building one themost innovative radiology centresin the United States. Gary Glazerpassed away in October 2011after a long battle with prostatecancer.
