Solids arecontained inside the bagor basket where they'reeasily and completelyremoved when the unit isserviced. A hinged basketbail is pushed down by theclosed cover, to hold thebasket against a positivestop in the housing.It helps prevent bypassingof unfiltered liquid.Fluid bypass around thebasket is prevented byan optional O-ring sealbetween the basket rimand the housing ID.This seal id required onModel 8 bag filters.
