Harley MarineTraining ProgramHarley Marine Services conducts a well-rounded continuing education and training program for all personnel. The program wasdeveloped to enhance the safety and education of all company operators and employees.Harley Marine Services has created a Mentoring Program, designed for the unique circumstance and company structure. Thebenefits of mentoring are countless. The program is designed for all members of the Harley Marine community. It is anopportunity for experienced managers, masters and crewmembers to share their wisdom, insights and knowledge with the nextgeneration of leaders at Harley Marine. Mentoring benefits the mentor, coach and mentee. Mentors and coaches gain aleadership opportunity and a chance to mold and influence the culture of Harley Marine. The mentee benefits through goalsetting and knowledge acquisition. Mentees also demonstrate organization, initiative and communication skills.The company’s training programs are designed to meet IMO requirements for Standards of Training, Certification andWatchkeeping. Harley Marine teaches employees aspects of Basic Safety Training, which includes First Aid/CPR/AED, personalsurvival techniques, safety and social responsibility and basic marine firefighting. All Harley Marine mariners participate in thisannual training program, as well as a HAZWOPER refresher. In accordance with ISO 9001 certification, Harley Marine strives forcontinual improvement in the training programs and skill assessments developed.
