<strong>Operation</strong>High Pressure Cut-outThe high-pressure controls arewired in series between thecompressor outputs on the UCP andthe compressor contactors.On 275, 300 and 350 size units, ifthe high-pressure safety switchopens, the UCP senses a lack ofcurrent while calling for cooling andlocks both compressors out. On 400and 500 size units, if the highpressuresafety opens, thecompressor(s) on the affectedcircuit is locked out. A manual resetfor the affected circuit is required.External Auto/stopWhen this binary input is opened,all outputs are immediately turnedoff and the system will not beallowed to restart until the binaryinput is closed for approximately5 seconds minimum.The shut down is communicated tothe BMS if applicable and the Heatand Cool LED's will blink at anominal rate of 1 blink per second.Compressor Winding ProtectionThe Compressor WindingThermostat(s) are wired in seriesbetween the compressor outputs onthe UCP and the compressorcontactors. In the event a windingthermostat opens, the UCP senses alack of current while calling forcooling and shuts the compressor(s)off for that circuit. <strong>Operation</strong>Final installation checklist- Is the condenser fan and indoorblower operating correctly, i.e.:correct rotation and without unduenoise?- Are the compressors operatingcorrectly and has the systemcharge been checked?- Has the gas module been installedas per the procedure in thismanual?- Have the voltage and runningcurrents been checked todetermine if they are within limits?- Have the air discharge grilles beenadjusted to balance the system?- Has the ductwork been checked forair leaks and any condensation?- Has the heating air temperaturerise been checked?- Has the indoor airflow beenchecked and adjusted if necessary?- Has the unit been checked fortubing and sheet metal rattles orany unusual noises?- Are all covers and panels in placeand properly fastened?To keep the unit operating safelyand efficiently, the manufacturerrecommends that a qualified servicetechnician check the entire systemat least once each year, or morefrequently if conditions warrant.RT-SVX16C-E453
