E. Dwelling. Single Family: A detached building designed andintended for occupancy by a single family whether for yearroundor seasonal purposes.F. Family: Any number of individuals living together as asingle housekeeping unit.G. Farm: A tract of land in separate ownership devotedprimarily to agricultural use. Includes necessary personnelstructures, buildings, vehicles and equipment but notresidential or commercial structures other than thosedirectly related to farm operation. Shall not includeslaughterhouses or the commercial raising of swine orfurbearing animals.H. Lot: A tract of land under separate ownership, occupiedor intended to be occupied by a principal building and thestructures and areas accessory to it, defined by metes andbounds or shown on a duly recorded plan.H.1 Lot, Rear: A tract of land zoned and used forresidential purposes with reduced frontage requirements.I. Home occupation: Any use customarily conducted for profitby the inhabitants within a dwelling, provided such use isclearly incidental and secondary to the use of the buildingfor dwelling purposes and does not change the residentialcharacter thereof.J. Scrap Yard: Land or structures used commercially forcollecting, storing or selling wastepaper, rags, scrap metalor discarded materials or for collecting, dismantling,storing, salvaging or selling inoperative machinery orvehicles or parts thereof.K. Nonconforming Use: Use of a building or land, existing atthe time of the enactment or subsequent amendment of this<strong>By</strong>-Law which does not conform to the regulations of thedistrict in which it is situated.L. Street: A public or private vehicular thoroughfare, whichaffords the principal means of access to abutting propertyand which, as defined, includes the entire right of way. Ifno right of way has been established, it shall be deemed toextend 25 feet on each side of the center of the traveledway and parallel thereto.1.
