Dwelling, Multi-family: A residential building designedfor or occupied by two (2) or more families with the numberof families in residence not exceeding the number ofdwelling units provided.T.1 Accessory Apartment: Accessory apartment is a separatehousekeeping unit, complete with its own sleeping, cookingand sanitary facilities that are substantially containedwithin a structure of a single-family dwelling butfunctions as a separate unit. The owner(s) of theresidence in which the accessory apartment is located shalloccupy the principal dwelling unit. Either the occupantsof both units shall be related by blood or marriage, or theaccessory apartment shall be occupied by an individualhired to provide medical assistance, or custodial care toone or more individuals in the principal dwelling unit.
