Recommendations – Post Re-Inspection
• An integrity assessment should be carried out to:
– Determine the significance of the reported features
– This should be based on actual depths at the time of
new inspection rather than those predicted from this
inspection
– Provide confirmation that the mitigation measures put
in place have controlled the threat of external
corrosion to this pipeline
– Identify areas of probable CP shielding, where
adequate “off”-potentials have been recorded, but ILI
data show continued growth
• This should assist with ensuring the future integrity of the
pipeline
