A distance equal to the width of the C in the <strong>UNC</strong> logo (approximately 1/3 the width of thetrademark) should be the minimum separation between the marks. The symbol does not need to beincluded on badges or name tags.BannersTrademarks printed on cloth or vinyl banners must include the symbol. In one-color applications, use 40% screen of black inplace of PMS 543.Clinical Trials TemplateFor advertising clinical trials at <strong>UNC</strong>, the <strong>UNC</strong> School of Medicine trademark with must be placed inthe bottom right corner of the ad no closer than 1/2”to each edge. The headline of the ad must read inblack ‘Volunteers needed for research study’ in a 10% gray header surrounding the headline.
