Explanatory notes or comments found throughout thePacific Area Operations Guide are included to eliminate the need forinterpretation by Area Staff, Region Directors, Region Staff, StateDirectors, State Staff, and individual members. Chief, Navy-Marine CorpsMARS, has approved these elements of guidance and interpretations will begiven only from that source. Promulgation of this document is in agreementwith direction received from Chief, Navy-Marine Corps MARS.
