semester, about half <strong>of</strong> the course readings and time in class were focused on the notion <strong>of</strong>functions from the perspective <strong>of</strong> two big ideas: multiple representations <strong>of</strong> functions andfamilies <strong>of</strong> functions (Cooney, et al., 2010).
