In 2005 the airline transporteda record 5,2 million passengers. In addition to the wide rangeof services offered, CSA passengers cantake advantage of a host of other benefits,including joint frequent flyer programmes,access to 391 airport lounges,24-hour guaranteed reservations, singlecheck-in for multiple stopovers and, lastbut not least, a guarantee of the samequality of service at all SkyTeam carriers.Together with arranging transport on regularroutes CSA also offers travel agenciesand other contractual partners specialcharter connections that give passengersthe advantage of unusual destinationscombined with interesting prices.Some favourite destinations include forexample Venezuela, Cuba and theDominican Republic, and in the summermonths the most attractive holiday resortssuch as Egypt, Turkey, Tunisia andGreece. It represents a year onyear increase of 2.3 percent; over thesame period last year CSA carried 4.8million passengers. Scheduled flights,with more than 4.3 million passengers,accounted for the greatest share. Overthe first eleven months, CSA flew morethan 36,000 flights. <strong>The</strong> most popular regularCSA destinations in the penultimate month ofthe year included Paris, Amsterdam,London, Madrid and Athens . CSA charterflights grew by nearly ten percent andfrom January to November this year theycarried more than 760,000 passengers.<strong>The</strong> most frequent destinations in the CSAcharter network at the end of the summerwere Hurghada in Egypt, Heraklion onCrete and Antalya in Turkey . With theonset of winter, CSA aircraft will be landingin such exotic destinations asVaradero in Cuba, the Venezuelan LaIsla Margarita and La Romana and PuntaCana in the Dominican Republic . CSAcharter flights do not only carry clients ofCzech and foreign travel agencies. Moreand more frequently, renowned internationalfirms are ordering flights from CSA.<strong>The</strong> winter schedule, i.e., from 29October, has increased the frequency offlights to destinations such as Moscow,Yekaterinburg, Odessa, Tallinn, Vilnius,Sophia, Sarajevo, Ljubljana, Zagreb andBucharest.CSA also places great emphasison the punctuality of its flights. For thefirst three quarters, CSA came second interms of the punctuality of flights out of the26 European airlines in the Associationof European Airlines (AEA).
