2009 Acura TL is designed to be the most exciting performanceluxury<br />
sedan in Acura history. With a choice of two powerful VTEC<br />
V-6 powertrains (280-hp 3.5L and 305-hp 3.7L), Electric Power<br />
Steering, and a luxurious and technologically advanced interior,<br />
the new TL sets the future direction of the Acura Division.<br />
Replacing the previous TL Type-S is the TL SH-AWD model,<br />
built exclusively for the enthusiast driver with special suspension<br />
and steering tuning, and the most powerful engine ever offered<br />
by Acura.<br />
The SH-AWD system was designed to dramatically enhance<br />
sporty handling in addition to further enhancing the vehicle’s<br />
winter-driving capability. By employing torque vectoring, in hard<br />
cornering under acceleration, it can send more torque as well<br />
as overdrive the outside rear wheel, thereby creating a “yaw<br />
moment” that enhances vehicle dynamics by generating a turn-in<br />
effect.<br />
Those who like a car with all the latest technology will love the<br />
TL. Standard are XM Satellite Radio, Bluetooth Audio, USB port<br />
and AUX jack connectivity, plus HandsFreeLink wireless telephone<br />
interface. The available Technology Package adds Navigation<br />
System with Bilingual Voice Recognition, 8-inch full-VGA high-resolution<br />
colour display, Acura/ELS Surround 10-speaker, 440-watt<br />
premium sound system with DVD-Audio, DTS, and a 2,500-song<br />
hard disk drive (HDD) media storage, in addition to the previously<br />
mentioned features.<br />
The new Acura TL is as leading edge as the drivers it is<br />
