RegionalA Team at the Region’sSkanka LA’s 2008-2010 Action Plan centres, amidstother objectives, on the enhancement of our team’sperformance and management, by focusing on people,in order to complement strong regional development.With this in mind, the first points for action have beenaccomplished, through the creation of the HumanResources Regional Services area, which renders servicesto the Shared Services (Engineering, Estimations,Logistics and Critical Equipment, and Key and CriticalResources) and to the relocated parties in the region.BUenosTAireso provide us with detailed informationon how she will accomplish hermission, María Laura Martí, team leaderwith over thirteen years experience in thecompany, explains, “Human Resources RegionalServices upholds the mission of renderingquality services to its internal clients.These services include reviewing policiesand administrative processes, through theone-to-one attention given to relocated personneland their families (provision, healthand insurance, among others). We will alsoimplement Human Resourcespractices for the detection of keyresources and theirrespective development.These significantchallenges willbe accomplishedthrough intenseteamwork. We are agroup of committedprofessionals, andI am sure we willmeet expectationssuccessfully”.“The area willstrongly influencethe staffing process for a new project, sincethe Country Operations Managers, ProjectManagers and Human Resources Managerswill have to define their respectiveteams.
