5 StatisticsIn order to demonstrate the size and scope of the gazetteer a number of statisticshave been provided. These are provide for information but may promptconsideration of how the extent of the gazetteer can be increased. For example, alow number of Type 2 streets may indicate that streets which do not have officialnames, or footpaths and Public rights of Way are not recorded in the gazetteer.Highlighting this may prompt an exercise to capture them.
