<strong>GIFTS</strong> OF THE SPIRIT FRUITS OF THE SPIRIT<br />
-God given when He wills -Takes time<br />
-Supernatural -Has to be grown in <strong>the</strong> natural<br />
-For specific time & place -Developed over time<br />
-Like a Christmas tree -Like an apple tree<br />
-Given sometimes spontaneously -Takes time to grow<br />
-Related primarily to <strong>the</strong> -Necessary for Ministry<br />
collective body <strong>of</strong> believers<br />
-Related to ministry -Related to character<br />
-May be classified as to order -All are essential<br />
<strong>of</strong> importance<br />
-May be exercised in such a manner -Can never be misused<br />
as to <strong>of</strong>fend o<strong>the</strong>rs, and<br />
cause discord and division -Every believer may bear all<br />
in <strong>the</strong> body fruit all at <strong>the</strong> same time<br />
-All believers are commanded to<br />
manifest <strong>the</strong> fruit <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> spirit.<br />
Gal 5:22 The fruits <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Spirit</strong> are: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness,<br />
goodness, faith, meekness, temperance.<br />
Fruit <strong>of</strong> <strong>the</strong> <strong>Spirit</strong> is prerequisite for effective exercise <strong>of</strong> spiritual gifts.<br />
Gifts without fruit like tire without air, all necessary ingredients <strong>the</strong>re but worthless.<br />
