DEFINITION<br />
LEADERSHIP (Governments, Ruling)<br />
The special ability to set goals in accordance with God’s purpose for <strong>the</strong> future and to communicate<br />
<strong>the</strong>se goals to o<strong>the</strong>rs in such a way that <strong>the</strong>y voluntarily and harmoniously work toge<strong>the</strong>r to accomplish<br />
those goals for <strong>the</strong> glory <strong>of</strong> God. To direct, pilot, guide, stand over, stand before.<br />
CHARACTERISTICS<br />
1. Special zeal for <strong>the</strong> course God’s people are taking.<br />
2. Ability to see <strong>the</strong> overall picture and to clarify long range goals.<br />
1. Has a vision that can be conveyed to <strong>the</strong> people in such a way that <strong>the</strong>y will follow.<br />
2. Can sense overall problems and survey <strong>the</strong> needs.<br />
3. Does not joy in doing <strong>the</strong> task <strong>the</strong>mselves.<br />
4. Has a sense <strong>of</strong> timing.<br />
5. Can take pressure and proceed under opposition.<br />
6. Knows o<strong>the</strong>rs have to do <strong>the</strong> work.<br />
