SETTING THE STARTUP DELAY....................................................................The high velocities that are commonduring initial activation of an irrigationcycle could cause the <strong>Flow</strong>-<strong>Clik</strong>to sense a “high flow” situation (primarilydue to air trapped within thesystem) and subsequently shut downthe irrigation system at the beginningof every cycle. The <strong>Flow</strong>-<strong>Clik</strong>addresses the problem by providing aprogrammable Startup Delay to allow the system to stabilizeprior to the <strong>Flow</strong>-<strong>Clik</strong> monitoring for high flow conditions.To program the Startup Delay, turn the dial on the left sideof the Interface Box to one of the eight preset delay positionsfrom 20 seconds to 300 seconds.Note: The 0 second delay position is usedfor calibration of the <strong>Flow</strong>-<strong>Clik</strong> during initialinstallation only.Note: The startup delay required may varybetween zones. Select the largest start updelay required for all zones.20
