Start collection in early morning, discarding the first urine of the day and note the time as the start of thecollection.2. DO NOT URINATE DIRECTLY INTO THE URINE JUG. Use a disposable container to catch urine and pour intoJug.3. Collect all urine during the 24-hour period. Keep the Jug on ice throughout the collection period.4. The next morning at the same time, collect and retain the first urine of the day and note the time as the end ofcollection.5.
