His inspiration comes from thenatural scenery of his country.ALISON SANDEMAN is a long-standing tutor at<strong>West</strong> <strong>Dean</strong>. She makes functional individual piecesin stoneware, porcelain and Raku. She has a specialinterest in outdoor firing techniques and is currentlyworking with University <strong>College</strong> London on aresearch project on ancient making techniques.VIRGINIA SCOTCHIE is Head of Ceramics atthe University of South Carolina. She has receivednumerous awards for her ceramics, exhibitsworldwide and has work in many private and publiccollections.LOUISA TAYLOR studied at Bath Spa University andthe Royal <strong>College</strong> of Art. She lectures at BrightonUniversity alongside making work that sells in galleriesthroughout Europe.
