You first produce a small(no bigger than 150mm) wax sculpture forcasting. Learn about the qualities of waxes,gain skills with tools and look at finishingtechniques. The construction of the waxpouring system is followed by a silicone mouldmakingdemonstration. The lost wax castingprocess is explained and you will then be givena grounding in bronze-casting processes andshould achieve at least one small completedpiece.
