Bleeding from site / lineitself.Line displacementLine in situ when nolonger required.Observe for signs of bleeding from site.Upon removal of cannula ensure adequatepressure is applied to site for cessation ofbleeding.If bleeding problematical check clotting times.Check each time line accessed for signs ofdisplacement (extravasation and/orinfiltration).
