Upon confirmation of the presence of any foreign forces,UNTAC will immediately deploy military personnel with theforeign forces and accompany them until they have withdrawnfrom Cambodian territory. UNTAC will also establish checkpo<strong>in</strong>tson withdrawal routes, border cross<strong>in</strong>g po<strong>in</strong>ts and airfields toverify the withdrawal and ensure the non-return of allcategories of foreign forces.4. The Mixed Military Work<strong>in</strong>g Group (MMWG) provided for <strong>in</strong>article II of this annex will assist UNTAC <strong>in</strong> fulfill<strong>in</strong>g theabove-mentioned tasks.Article VIICessation of outside military assistanceto all Cambodian Parties1. All Parties undertake, from the time of the sign<strong>in</strong>g of thisAgreement, not to obta<strong>in</strong> or seek any outside militaryassistance, <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g weapons, ammunition and militaryequipment from outside sources.2. The Signatories whose territory is adjacent to Cambodia,namely, the Governments of the Lao People's DemocraticRepublic, the K<strong>in</strong>gdom of Thailand and the Socialist Republic ofVietnam, undertake to :(a) Prevent the territories of their respective States,<strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g land territory, territorial sea and air space, frombe<strong>in</strong>g used for the purpose of provid<strong>in</strong>g any form of militaryassistance to any of the Cambodian Parties. Resupply of suchitems as food, water, cloth<strong>in</strong>g and medical supplies throughtheir territories will be allowed, but shall, without prejudiceto the provisions of sub-paragraph (c) below, be subject toUNTAC supervision upon arrival <strong>in</strong> Cambodia ;(b) Provide written confirmation to the Commander of themilitary component of UNTAC, not later than four weeks afterthe second phase of the cease-fire beg<strong>in</strong>s, that no forces,Vol. 1663, 1-28613
