Pure Prairie2008 Events at Prairie State Park,near Mindenmines in Barton County.Free events are held year-round atthe park, which at nearly 4,000 acresis Missouri’s largest publicly owned,native prairie. Wildflower hikes arethe first Saturday of the month, Maythrough September: May 3, June7, July 5, August 2 and September6. Participants should meet at thevisitor center at 10:00 am.
