Proper use and operation of theProduct entails, among other things, use of the Product in strict compliance with the following power ratings:Pleasure Duty. This power rating is intended for use in variable load applications where full power is limitedto one (1) hour out of every eight (8) hours of operation. Reduced power operations must be at or below200 RPM of the maximum rated RPM. This rating is an ISO 3046 (ISO 8665) fuel stop power rating and isintended exclusively for pleasure/non-revenue generating applications. Engines rated “Pleasure Duty” maynot be used for any commercial application without voiding the product warranty. A “commercial application”includes any work or employment-related use of the Product, or any use of the Product that creates income,even if the Product is only occasionally used for such purpose. A “commercial application” also includescharter, naval, police, and other similar applications.Commercial Duty. This power rating is intended for intermittent use in variable load applications where fullpower is limited to two (2) hours of every eight (8) hours of operation. Reduced power operations must beat or below 400 RPM of the maximum rated RPM. This rating is an ISO 3046 fuel stop power rating and isintended for applications that operate less than 1,500 hours per year.STEYR MOTORS’ duty of performance under this Warranty is expressly conditioned upon the purchaser’s maintenanceof the following documentation and records which must be made available to STEYR MOTORS in the eventthat warranty service is required:2Whichever occurs first111
