The foreign plants arelocated in Canada, China, Puerto Rico, and Trinidad.Item 3.LEGAL PROCEEDINGSEnvironmental MattersThe Company is involved in approximately twenty administrative and judicial proceedings in which it has beenidentified as a potentially responsible party (PRP) under the federal Superfund law and its state analogs for thestudy and cleanup of sites contaminated by material discharged into the environment. In all of these matters thereare numerous PRPs. Due to various factors, such as the required level of remediation and participation in thecleanup effort by others, the Company’s future cleanup costs at these sites cannot be reasonably estimated.
