It includes theoretical informationdescribing the stages within the permitting procedures. However, emphasisis also given to the practical implementation of EU requirements on aMember State level and to the description of examples of good practiceregarding the permitting steps.The required content of permits and registration documents are describedonly on a general level within this guidance; however, the accompanyingmanual includes 8 checklists indicating what conditions to include in apermit, covering the following different types of waste managementfacilities:1.
