However,BCFC spokesman Erin Caldwellsaid last week that high seas onFebruary 22 damaged some of thedocks and delayed the project'scompletion."They had to repair the damage,which put the contractors(West Shore Constructors) two orthree days behind schedule,"Caldwell said. "High tides hadalready slowed down the work, soit probably won't be done untilthe end of April."Work crews repairing the Vesuviusand Crofton docks willwork to have them both openthroughout the Easter weekend,Caldwell said.Preliminary work on the Vesuviusand Crofton docks, originallyscheduled to start in early February,didn't get under way untilFebruary 16 due to a delay in thearrival of some materials.
