ITQAN PRESENTS AWARDS TO ITS TOP<br />
HEALTHCARE CLIENTS<br />
Dubai, 9 February 2012 – Leading systems integrator and IT<br />
Solutions provider ITQAN Al-Bawardi Computers participated<br />
in this year’s Middle East CIO 50 Awards as a Sponsor, following<br />
the conclusion of another prosperous year, working hand in<br />
hand with some of the U<strong>AE</strong>’s top CIOs and their respective<br />
organizations.<br />
The Middle East CIO 50 Awards celebrated the top 50<br />
organisations (and the people within them) that are using<br />
infor<strong>ma</strong>tion technology in innovative ways to deliver business<br />
value, whether by creating competitive advantage, optimising<br />
business processes, enabling growth or improving relationships<br />
with customers.<br />

“We are looking forward to celebrating the successes of <strong>ma</strong>ny<br />
Dr. Richard Rhodes, Mafraq Hospital receiving the award<br />
of our partners and clients in the field of IT,” stated Feras Al-<br />
Jabi, ITQAN’s General Manager, “It has been indeed a year of<br />
achievements for both ITQAN and all the organizations with<br />
whom we have collaborated on various projects”.<br />
The award ceremony honoured the top level IT executives<br />
and CIO on taking risks on emerging technologies, or the<br />
deployment of the tried and true in a new way. Also being<br />
recognized are those who were focused on building better<br />
business processes, fostering closer collaboration, discovering<br />
new ways to get more from existing customers, pursuing new<br />
<strong>ma</strong>rkets, saving money, or <strong>ma</strong>king more of it.<br />
Amongst the winners were those who collaborated with<br />
ITQAN to implement key projects last year, including: Mr.<br />
Khaled Lootah of the Ministry of Health, for heading a data<br />
refurbishment project for the Ministry, Mr. Ali Al Ali of the<br />
Health Authority – Abu Dhabi for overseeing the auto<strong>ma</strong>tion of<br />
all business processes within the Authority, and Dr. Richard A.<br />
Rhodes of Mafraq Hospital for ensuring the swift networking<br />
implementation to improve communication in the hospital,<br />
through a newly developed IT platform.<br />
“ITQAN’s undeniable <strong>ma</strong>rk in the U<strong>AE</strong> IT industry over the past<br />
27 years has developed and <strong>ma</strong>intained relationships with key<br />
partners and clients, and our participation in this event shows<br />
our continued support and encouragement for individuals and<br />
group innovation in IT,” added Rola Al Satari, Accreditation,<br />
