Pek Kio Community Centre<br />
Building Fund Golf Tournament<br />
A most successful Fundraising Golf<br />
Tournament was held at the Orchid<br />
Country Club on 7th May 2010. The<br />
event attracted a total of 54 flights<br />
and helped raised some $250,000 for<br />
the Pek Kio Community Club Building<br />
Fund.<br />
Gracing the occasion were Mr<br />
Wong Kan Seng, Deputy Prime<br />
Minister and Minister for Home<br />
Affairs and <strong>Moulmein</strong> Constituency’s<br />
Adviser, RADM (NS) Lui Tuck Yew,<br />
Acting Minister for Information,<br />
Communications and the Arts.<br />
Mr.Lui, in welcoming participants<br />
to the event, expressed heartfelt<br />
appreciation to the golfers, donors<br />
and sponsors for the generous<br />
support in our fundraising efforts for<br />
the new Pek Kio Community Club<br />
which would be co-located with the<br />
Indoor Sports Hall of the Farrer Park<br />
Primary School along Gloucester<br />
Road.<br />
