KUWAIT UNDERGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMApplication Form -- Summer Salaries and/or Annual Ticket AllowanceThe following information outlines the Rules and Regulations concerning the Annual Ticket Allowanceand the Summer Salaries (July and August). In order to confirm the summer salaries, ALLSTUDENTS must complete, sign and return this form by fax to 613-237-6963 (attention Tharwat) orelectronically by e-mail to tskeik@cbie.ca. This will ensure that you have read and you understandthe following Rules and Regulations.Please note the following rules and regulations:‣ Students are entitled to an annual ticket allowance provided that they meet all of therequirements of the scholarship rules and regulations.‣ Students in their academic studies must complete 30 credit hours in one academic yearwith a “C” average. Students who do not complete the required number of credits hours duringtwo full-time semesters may enroll in the summer term to complete the required number ofcredit hours.‣ Students in ESL must have confirmed academic admission after two-full time semesters inorder to be eligible for their annual ticket allowance and summer salaries.‣ Students who are only required to complete one full-time term of ESL must also complete 15credit hours in academic courses, with a “C” average, in order to be eligible for theseallowances.‣ Students who wish to take courses at Kuwait University during the spring/summer monthsmust provide proof by “Letter of Permission” from their university that the course credits will betransferred to their degree program in Canada.
