Two groupsof students who have undertaken andcompleted manufacturing projectssupervised by the IC were selectedto receive the scholarship for 2009.The presentation of Bosch RexrothScholarship was held on 9 September2009 with the presence of Mr Sunny Lee,General Business Unit Sales Manager,Bosch Rexroth China and Ir Louis Chu,Associate Director, Industrial Centre.A total of 12 PolyU students from theDepartment of Mechanical Engineeringparticipated in two manufacturingprojects namely ‘Process ControlTraining System’ and ‘Automatic RunnerSeparating System’ in 2009. Their ICsupervisors praised that the studentswere highly devoted to the project andhave demonstrated professional attitudethroughout the project. The students, onthe other hand, also highly cherishedthe opportunity to work with a real clientand advanced technologies provided byBosch Rexroth. After the presentationceremony, the students have a fruitfuldiscussion with Mr Sunny Lee on thedevelopment and prospect of industrialautomation industry.The agreement will initially last for threeyears starting from 2009 and a totalof six scholarships amounted to RMB60,000 will be granted.世 力 士 樂 ( 中 國 ) 有 限 公 司 與博 工 業 中 心 早 前 達 成 協 議 ,每 年 頒 發 博 世 力 士 樂 獎 學 金 合 共 二萬 元 人 民 幣 予 香 港 理 工 大 學 ( 理 大 )表 現 優 異 的 學 生 。 獲 挑 選 的 學 生 必須 為 理 大 二 年 級 或 三 年 級 生 、 參 與工 業 中 心 有 關 流 體 傳 動 、 機 械 、 電子 控 制 及 工 業 自 動 化 等 專 業 的 培 訓項 目 並 且 有 優 異 表 現 。 工 業 中 心 早前 提 名 了 兩 組 參 與 暑 期 項 目 培 訓 的學 生 成 為 獎 學 金 得 主 。 獎 學 金 頒 贈儀 式 在 2009 年 9 月 9 日 在 工 業 中 心 舉行 , 出 席 的 代 表 包 括 博 世 力 士 樂 ( 中國 ) 業 務 總 經 理 ( 氣 動 ) 李 信 健 先 生 以及 工 業 中 心 副 總 監 朱 錦 標 工 程 師 。獲 頒 發 獎 學 金 的 學 生 共 12 名 , 均 來自 理 大 機 械 工 程 學 系 , 兩 組 學 生 的項 目 分 別 為 「 過 程 控 制 培 訓 系 統 」及 「 注 塑 熱 流 道 自 動 切 斷 設 備 」。工 業 中 心 的 導 師 對 學 生 的 表 現 非 常讚 賞 , 認 為 學 生 們 在 整 個 過 程 中 不但 非 常 投 入 , 而 且 表 現 出 專 業 的 態度 。 學 生 也 非 常 感 謝 工 業 中 心 和 博世 力 士 樂 ( 中 國 ) 有 限 公 司 為 他 們 提供 了 寶 貴 的 機 會 , 學 習 及 了 解 前 沿的 自 動 化 技 術 和 設 備 。 在 頒 獎 儀 式完 畢 後 , 學 生 均 把 握 機 會 向 李 先 生了 解 行 業 的 運 作 和 前 景 以 及 李 先 生的 工 作 心 得 。博 世 力 士 樂 獎 學 金 由 2009 年 起 連 續三 年 頒 發 予 理 大 學 生 , 合 共 頒 發 金額 達 六 萬 元 人 民 幣 。工 業 中 心 簡 訊 9
