Error Code Guide:When an error code is displayed:● Close the hot water faucet, turn off the switch on the remotecontrol.● Wait for about 5 minutes before turning the switch onagain.● Open the hot water faucet.If the error code remains in the display:● Close the hot water faucet and turn off the switch on theremote control.● Take the proper action shown below and attempt operationof the appliance again.If the error code is still shown:● Turn off the hot water faucet and turn off the switch on theremote control.● Take note of the error code displayed and call the customerservice assistance number in the “If You Need Service”section of the manual on the back cover.Notice: If an error code other than those listed below isdisplayed, immediately turn off the hot water faucet, take noteof the error code, turn off the switch on the remote control andcall the customer assistance number.Error Code Possible Cause What To Do11 The Gas Shutoff Valve is not openedcompletely.● Open the Gas Shutoff Valvecompletely.12 Gas Service has been interrupted.LP Gas is running low. (LP models only)● Contact Gas Utility Company.● Fill up LP Gas container or replacewith a new cylinder of LP Gas.15 The hot water faucet is not opened enough. ● Open the faucet more to secureenough volume.05(Every 60 seconds you hearan alarm or when the faucet isclosed, the alarm stops.)Air intake or vent termination may beblocked.The vent pipes on the concentric venttermination may not be connected properly.● Remove any obstructions on the airintake or vent termination.● Contact a dealer for service.13 If the error code is still displayed after takingthe above steps.● Contact a dealer for service.1L Water heater has build up of lime deposits. ● Contact a dealer for service.CAUTION: Make certain power to water heater is “OFF” before removing protective cover FOR ANY REASON.CAUTION: Label all wires prior to disconnection when servicing controls.
