Turn off the gas andwater shutoff valves.● Press the UP arrow temperature adjustmentbutton on the remote control for several times andset the temperature at 120°F (49°C).● Press and hold the UP button on remote controlfor more than 5 seconds. Number (120) on thedisplay of the remote control will begin to blink.● While the number is blinking, push the UP arrowtemperature adjustment button and the Downarrow temperature adjustment button at the sametime. The display of the remote control will show“140”.● Push the UP or Down button to set desiredtemperature.● Turn on the gas and water shut off valves.● Check and ensure safe operation and performanceof the water heater.Notice: Display shows°F only.In Use Indicator(Lit during operation)LED Display(Displays watertemperature and errorcodes) ! Turn off the gas andwater shutoff valves.● Press the Down arrow temperature adjustmentbutton on the remote control for several times andset the minimum setting temperature (100°F(38°F)or 85°F(29°F)).● Press and hold the Down button on the remotecontrol for more than 5 seconds.
